RNA Chemistry Shapes Biology and Advances Medicine

Welcome to the Wei Lab at NUS

Gene & Chromatin Regulation Through RNA Modifications

RNA at the Nexus of Genetic Information Flow
We study how RNA modifications shape epigenetic regulation, inheritance, development, aging, and disease, and harness these mechanisms for regeneration and immunity.

Precision Medicine through RNA Modifications
We map how signaling and stress reprogram RNA modifications, revealing synthetic-lethal and co-targeting strategies for precision therapy.

Next-Generation RNA Technologies
We develop low-input, high-resolution methods to profile and edit RNA, enabling site-specific control of transcription, chromatin, and translation.

Join Us

We welcome curious and motivated researchers to join us in exploring how RNA chemistry rewrites biology and medicine. Our lab brings together RNA biology, epigenetics, chemical biology, and technology development to address fundamental questions in gene regulation and translate discoveries into new biomedical and biotechnological opportunities. Researchers from diverse scientific backgrounds are encouraged to bring their own perspectives, develop bold ideas, and grow with us in a collaborative and supportive environment.
